The Florida Parks

Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida is home to four major parks: Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Each park contains rides, restaurants, shops, events, and various Disney character gatherings.

Magic Kingdom is every little girl’s dream. It is home to many princesses and, most famously, Cinderella’s castle. The castle is even open to dine in and with the Disney princesses! It contains many huge rides including Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, It’s a Small World, and Peter Pan’s Flight. This park is also where the nightly firework show occurs right outside Cinderella’s castle!

Epcot is most famously home of Spaceship Earth, which is the huge silver ball right inside the entrance. It’s biggest and most recognizable rides include Soarin’ Around the World, Test Track, and Mission: SPACE. Epcot is also the home of World Showcase which includes 11 different countries! Epcot is the most diverse of the parks and holds many great restaurants and character meetings. You can even meet each princess in the country she comes from!

Disney’s Hollywood Studios is Walt Disney World’s center for the best live music, shows, and all things entertainment. The attractions are centered on giving you Disney’s best thrill. A few of the rides include The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, and The Great Movie Ride. Even if these attractions are thrilling and amazing, that is not what draws the crowds. It is the incredible live shows and concerts that keep Hollywood Studios packed full of people. And not to mention all the Star Wars attractions and events!

Disney’s Animal Kingdom is every animal lovers dream! Expedition Everest is really the only thrill ride but most of the attractions include animals of some sort. And most of the time, they’re live! Two of the most popular attractions are the Kilimanjaro Safaris and the Maharajah Jungle Trek. Both attractions are a great way to see animals in their natural habitat and even up close! And don’t forget the incredible centerpiece of Animal Kingdom, The Tree of Life. It is carved with many animals and light up at night for a truly magical experience!

So, whether you want to meet princess, travel the world, watch live music and shows, or visit animals, Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida has a magical park for you!
